Our client is growing rapidly! A North Georgia manufacturing organization is seeking an Accounting Manager candidate to play a critical role in integrating financial systems and streamlining processes during the post-acquisition phase. You’ll analyze financial data, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, and provide strategic insights to optimize the financial performance of newly acquired companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Align financial practices, policies, and controls across acquired and legacy businesses.
Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow).
Monitor synergies and cost-saving opportunities during the integration process.
Support financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
Reconcile financial discrepancies, chart of accounts, and software across entities.
Coordinate with legal, tax, and operations teams for seamless integration.
Perform variance analysis, track trends, and deliver actionable insights to leadership.
Assist with audits, budget planning, and financial forecasting.

The Accounting Manager will be hybrid role, offering work from home most of the time. There will be travel to integrate acquired entities and conduct meetings in the corporate HQ from time to time. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
Prior M& A experience, ideally with a Private Equity-backed company.
Experience in construction environment.
Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
Internal audit experience is a plus.
Ability to handle sensitive financial information with integrity and discretion.
