On site at location listed in job posting Summary The First Horizon Community Investment Group ( FHCIG ) Portfolio Manager / Asset Manager (PM/AM) will gain valuable experience in tax credit investment asset management and will gain exposure to the tax credit investment process. The PM/AM reports to the FHCIG President and actively monitors and manages a portfolio of community development tax credit investments in real estate projects that qualify for Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credit, and New Markets Tax Credits. The PM/AM is the lead for several FHCIG responsibilities and assists FHCIG President with closing new community development tax credit investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities Include Asset Management of Existing Portfolio:

Weekly, update the OFAC checklist to include entities and individuals from new investments and distribute to the Bank Secrecy Act team. Monthly, develop a report of FHCIG Group 2 s activity (closings, commitments, contributions, payment made or received, etc.), and circulate it to a group that includes representatives from the Accounting, Tax, and CRA departments. Monthly, develop a report of the bank s Public Welfare Investment total and circulate it to a group that includes the Accounting, Tax, CRA, Legal, and Treasury department. Monthly, forecast the amount FHCIG is over or under the Community Reinvestment Act ( CRA ) department s goals for new complex and innovative investments in different counties and parishes. FHCIG s investments typically generate CRA credit and debt opportunities for First Horizon. Quarterly, collect and analyze financial reporting from each tax credit investment in the FHCIG Group 2 portfolio. Quarterly, develop a report that summaries the financial reporting from each tax credit investment in the FHCIG Group 2 portfolio and present it to the FHCIG President and the Credit Executive. Quarterly, draft business review presentations that will be presented to the executive level, which detail portfolio performance and FHCIG s profitability. Bi-annually, develop the materials for the meeting Tax Credit Risk Working Group ( TCRWG ). As a key part of the TCRWG, the PM/AM will have exposure to senior members of the bank s leadership. Annually, collect tax returns from each tax credit investment in the FHCIG Group 2 portfolio and provide them to the Tax Department. With regularity, update the Control s checklist to reflect what financials have been received to date and what is still outstanding and coordinate with Enhanced Capital. With regularity, communicate with the CRA Department to monitor the bank s complex and innovative investment goals. With regularity, communicate with the sponsors of each tax credit investment in the FHCIG Group 2 portfolio to ensure compliance with the partnership agreement. With regularity, communicate with the Specialty Accounting Department to inform it of contributions made to Group 2 tax credit investments so those contributions can be accounted on the bank s general ledger. With regularity, communicate and coordinate with Enhanced Capital, which provides investment support services. With regularity, support FHCIG in fulfilling its duties and controls. With regularity, review policy and procedure documentation to ensure accuracy. If applicable, assist with any internal audits. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Closing New Investments:

During the underwriting process for new investments, work with the FHCIG underwriter to develop diligence questions for the potential new investment and join calls with the sponsor team to learn more about the project. During the underwriting process for new investments, if the new investment is considering First Horizon debt, work with the FHCIG underwriter to answer any questions the First Horizon debt team has about the mechanics of a tax credit project. Prior to the closing of each new Group 2 tax credit investment, complete required Bank Secrecy Act report. Prior to issuing an LOI for each new Group 2 tax credit investment, develop initial draft of investment committee memo for approval to issue LOI for the FHCIG President to present to the credit committee. Prior to the closing for each new Group 2 tax credit investment, develop initial draft of investment committee memo for approval to close for the FHCIG President to present to the credit committee. During closing, manage the closing checklist and ensure that all necessary diligence is saved on FHCIG s shared site. With regularity, update FHCIG Group 2 s pipeline to reflect the status of potential investment opportunities.
