As our Accounting Manager, you are responsible for providing the leadership team with accurate financial information and providing financial analysis and suggestions to help the company achieve our financial targets. This is a vital role in our organization. You will work hand in hand with our President and leadership team on the financial aspects and business decisions that drive our profits. You will supervise a staff of 2 AP/AR Specialist. Position Key Areas of Responsibility
Oversee operations of the accounting department and personnel
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all monthly financial information
Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Prepare and present accurate financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards
Prepare month end financial close out and monthly reconciliations
Enhance accuracy of financial reporting results
Compile data to forecast cash flow needs
Ensure timely and accurate processing of AP and AR
Assess current accounting operations, offer recommendations for improvement, and implement new processes
Maintain and enforce accounting policies and procedures
Timely filing of state and federal reports, payroll taxes, property taxes and the like
Supports the management team by providing financial analysis and reporting Responsible for working with bank and outside CPA firm as well as investment firm and financial advisor Position Compensation/Benefits

Requirements:

Position Requirements
•B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field preferred by not required
•Must have at least 5 years of professional accounting experience including at least 3 years in a supervisory/management role where you were personally responsible for developing others and leading an accounting team
Proficiency with QuickBooks
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Excel (spreadsheet creating/editing, pivot tables, data analysis/manipulation and formula creation)
Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving and Big Picture mindset with the ability to roll up your sleeves and pitch in where needed
Must be a multi-tasker with effective communication skills and high attention to detail
