Accounting Manager/Supervisor Position Available In Middlesex, Massachusetts

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager or Supervisor to join our team in Natick, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for a hands-on individual with a strong background in financial management and accounting operations within smaller to mid-sized organizations. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic retail environment, overseeing day-to-day accounting tasks while contributing to strategic financial planning and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee general ledger management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to maintain efficient cash flow.
• Lead monthly close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, tracking expenses to ensure alignment with financial goals.
• Serve as a backup for the part-time payroll specialist, handling payroll tasks as needed.
• Conduct financial audits and ensure adherence to internal controls.
• Collaborate with leadership to provide analytical insights and contribute to strategic decision-making.
• Utilize ADP Financial Services and Payroll systems to streamline accounting functions.
• Support manufacturing cost accounting processes when required.
• Maintain accurate billing records and oversee invoicing operations. Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Proven expertise in accounting functions, including general ledger, AP, AR, and payroll.
• Proficiency in ADP Financial Services and Payroll systems.
• Familiarity with HCM SaaS Oracle Fusion and manufacturing cost accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to contribute to strategic financial planning.
• Experience in auditing and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Ability to manage monthly close processes and prepare accurate journal entries.
• Background in retail or seasonal sales accounting is highly desired.
