Job Description
Description We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team in Woburn, Massachusetts, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will lead financial operations for a global business unit, partnering closely with senior leadership to ensure effective planning and execution of financial goals. This highly visible position offers a unique opportunity to provide strategic financial insights and drive impactful results across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the senior finance leader for a business unit, collaborating with executive management to support strategic objectives.
- Oversee short and long-term P& L forecasts, implementing actions to ensure financial targets are met.
- Direct budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes for bookings, revenue, and expenses within the business unit.
- Analyze critical performance drivers to deliver actionable insights and enhance reporting and operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership with metrics and analytics that inform strategic decision-making and align with company goals.
- Partner with sales leadership to model and optimize organizational structures and coverage plans.
- Align financial processes with monthly accounting close procedures and interpret variances between actuals and forecasts.
- Manage financial reviews for spending requests, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and guidelines.
- Coordinate Quarterly Business Reviews and prepare presentations for Board of Directors meetings.
- Drive consistency and accuracy in financial reporting across various functions, identifying opportunities to improve processes. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with executive and senior management to influence financial strategy.
- Proven experience improving reporting processes and driving financial outcomes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to create and present executive-level materials.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
