Position Overview The company is seeking its first internal Revenue Cycle Manager to join our growing team. This is a pivotal role that will be instrumental in the strategic transition of our revenue cycle management functions from a third-party vendor to an in-house operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for meticulously managing this offboarding process, establishing internal RCM capabilities, and building out a high-performing team over the next several years. This is an opportunity offering significant autonomy and career growth. You will work closely with April Contreras, VP of PFS at College Health, and will have the unique chance to shape and lead our internal RCM department from the ground up, with ample room for future promotion opportunities. Key Responsibilities Lead the comprehensive process of offboarding our third-party RCM vendor and internalizing all revenue cycle functions. Hands-on management of all aspects of billing, collections, and coding processes. Develop and implement efficient RCM workflows and policies. Ensure accurate and timely claim submission, payment posting, and denial management. Maintain a deep understanding of government and commercial insurance plans to optimize reimbursement. Monitor RCM performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions. Recruit, train, and mentor future RCM team members as the department expands. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of progressive revenue cycle management experience , with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Demonstrated experience managing relationships with outsourced RCM teams and successfully transitioning to in-house operations. Full-cycle RCM expertise , encompassing a broad understanding of billing, collections, and coding functions, not solely focused on one area. Proven ability to work hands-on with RCM processes and provide confident leadership. In-depth knowledge of government and commercial insurance plans . Ability to work on-site at our Concord, MA office.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Experience in mental/behavioral health , particularly with Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHPs) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs). Familiarity with Kipu EMR . Experience working in a startup environment and navigating growth-related challenges.
