Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Position Available In Suffolk, Massachusetts

Description We are looking for a skilled Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis expert to join a leading private investment firm in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will contribute to the firm’s strategic and operational planning by providing financial insights, supporting budget processes, and assisting in multi-year forecasting. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with key teams and make a meaningful impact on financial decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans to support strategic business goals.
• Analyze and monitor financial performance throughout the year, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with compensation, corporate finance, and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
• Prepare and adjust journal entries to reconcile tax basis profit and loss statements with management basis P& L statements.
• Assist in creating and refining multi-year strategic plans, taking into account both current and anticipated business changes.
• Support ad hoc financial projects and initiatives, providing detailed analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial planning processes and tools.
• Provide insights and analysis to senior leadership to inform data-driven decision-making.

Requirements + 2-4 years of professional experience, ideally in public accounting or financial planning and analysis (FP& A). + Open to candidates with diverse industry backgrounds, preferably within multinational service-oriented companies. + Advanced degrees such as an MBA or MSF are considered beneficial but not mandatory. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, with experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau being strongly preferred.
