The Role As a Senior Finance Manager, you will provide support to our FCM Fixed Income, Equity Syndicate, FOREX business partners through a broad range of analytics, financial management, and strategic business partner support, with the goal of driving improved financial outcomes to the organization. The successful candidate will develop a deep understanding of the business and products supported. The Manager must be capable of understanding the details as well as be able to provide contextual commentary around the results to help tell the story. The responsibilities of the Senior Finance Manager will include: Lead the preparation and presentation of various analysis to the senior management team, including strategic updates, business results and key performance indicators (KPIs). Own the month end process, which includes the preparation of journal entries and analysis of financial results to ensure financials are complete and accurate. Drive planning processes, including the creation of budgets, KPIs and multi-year plans. On a quarterly basis, be responsible for the KPI reporting process. Verify the accuracy of NGAV results and work closely with business partners to identify areas of improvement. Own and lead ad-hoc requests received from business partners. The Expertise and Skills you Bring Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics combined with 7+ years of professional experience with a successful track record in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, revenue models, and scenario modeling Excellent communication and presentation skills: the ability to analyze sophisticated and complex issues and synthesize key points. Excellent problem-solving skills; prioritizing work, breaking down issues, taking an end-to-end view, and proposing alternative solutions. Proficient in various software applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint) and proven skills for building financial models for sophisticated processes. High degree of comfort with data, databases, financials, and having a strong bias for ensuring high data quality Detailed understanding of financial concepts, methodologies, and accounting principles and how they affect business decisions. Flexible, self-motivated individual that will bring energy, passion, and intellectual curiosity to the role. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven organization with a desire to drive projects to completion. Experience in financial services industry is helpful. The Team Fidelity Capital Markets (FCM) is the institutional trading arm of Fidelity Investments, providing trading products & services to a wide array of clients and Fidelity’s own businesses. Our Finance Team supports FCM Senior management by providing decision support, financial planning & analysis, and reporting to the divisions within FCM, which include Fixed Income, Equity, Syndicate, FOREX, Prime, Securities Finance and Fidelity Agency Lending.
