Accounting Manager
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a contract basis in the York, Maine area. In this role, you will oversee and streamline accounts receivable operations, lead month end, cash flow analysis, and ensure accuracy and efficiency in all related processes. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and payment reconciliation.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing operations for all clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage cash activity, including deposits and transfers, to maintain optimal cash flow.
• Implement and enforce policies to improve efficiency and reduce errors in accounts receivable processes.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company standards.
• Analyze accounts receivable data and generate reports to support decision-making and forecasting.
• Train and mentor team members to maintain high performance and adherence to best practices.
• Address and resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments in a timely manner.
• Work with other departments to ensure alignment on billing and payment activities.
• Review and optimize the use of accounting software systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable management or a related accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting functions, billing processes, and cash handling procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
