Accounting Manager
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a contract basis in the York, Maine area. In this role, you will oversee and streamline accounts receivable operations, lead month end, cash flow analysis, and ensure accuracy and efficiency in all related processes. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and payment reconciliation.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing operations for all clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage cash activity, including deposits and transfers, to maintain optimal cash flow.
- Implement and enforce policies to improve efficiency and reduce errors in accounts receivable processes.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company standards.
- Analyze accounts receivable data and generate reports to support decision-making and forecasting.
- Train and mentor team members to maintain high performance and adherence to best practices.
