Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Finance Manager will oversee the financial health of the operating organization by managing accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, accounts payable, investment planning, audit coordination and compliance processes. This role is critical to strategic decision-making and requires a high level of analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete ownership of Accounting and Finance aspects of Lee Summit facility Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Manage budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads. Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior management. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Oversee accounts payable, general ledger and balance sheet. Coordinate with external auditors during audits, tax advice for Corporate and State tax filings. Develop financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce risk. Support Capital investment business case development (including metrics like NPV, IRR, etc) and capital budgeting and monthly forecast. Mentor and manage finance team members to support their development and performance. Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement strategies. Support SAP implementation Coach, Mentor and Develop Finance team at Lee Summit Work with Manufacturing departments and foster partnerships for win/win environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or CPA/CMA preferred). 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, GAAP/IFRS, and corporate finance principles. Proficiency in financial software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar). Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Experience in manufacturing Ability to work collaboratively across departments. High attention to detail and organizational skills.
