Reporting to the owner, the Comptroller will be responsible for overseeing financial aspects of the business, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting, while keeping track of the company’s cash flow to better assist in the management of assets and liabilities. Essential Job Responsibilities Manage the company’s financial transactions, while maximizing financial growth. Preparation of the company’s financial reports and financial statements. Provide financial training, mentoring and supervision to employees. Evaluate and manage financial risk, while overseeing the company budgeting process. Create, maintain, and monitor a system of checks and controls, while analyzing credit, liquidity, price risk, and interest. Prepare income statements and manage the compliance of tax filings. Provide financial analysis and decision support to management. Manage the organization’s cash flow and forecast future financial needs. Formulate policies and procedures, while ensuring integrity in the financial reporting process. Essential Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred. Commensurate experience may be acceptable. Exceptional numerical ability. Strong organizational skills Experience with spreadsheet and financial analysis software. Good communication and written skills, with strong attention to detail. Attention to detail coupled with patience and tenacity. Knowledge of regulatory and other financial standards and requirements.
