Overview
The Senior Manager of FP&A will play a critical role in supporting the operations for our C Spire Business operations (“CSB”). This person will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analyzing the CSB financial statements and operating metrics. In addition, the

Lead will partner with the CSB leadership team to lead this high growth business through industry and market development and regional expansion, while providing insights into optimal cost structure. This role will have the opportunity to take on high-visibility, strategic projects focused on CSB’s performance through financial analytics, business insights, and organizational partnerships.
This team member will report to the Sr. Director of FP&A, while partnering with the CSB management team to help the company define and achieve its short and long-term goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
Model key assumptions for new customers and markets, including pricing and cost drivers
Prepare financial analysis on inorganic investment opportunities
Create business cases for new capabilities, highlighting strategic and financial value to ensure an acceptable return
Conduct benchmarking of operational and financial results across product lines, markets, and competitors
Identify and execute revenue generating and expense reduction initiatives and plans
Be a trusted advisor to the CSB leadership team, highlighting opportunities for process improvement
Prepare profitability and cash flow budgets and forecasts for the CSB line of business
Develop reporting for management, Board of Directors, and lenders
Manage, recruit, train, and retain select members of the FP&A team
Qualifications

REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or similar field required.
7+ years of experience working in corporate finance, financial analysis roles, and data analytics required Or a combination of the aformentions experience and Education, with a preference to experience in telecommunication or business services industries.
Experience managing direct reports and interfacing with senior management required.
Strong mastery of financial modeling, data analysis, and written and oral communication required.
Strong proficiency using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word along with financial and business systems such as Tm1/IBM Planning Analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Oracle Fusion.
Track record of progressive performance across professional career required.
This role will include a relatively modest amount of travel for periodic meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screen, as well as a telephone. Must be able to work a flexible schedule shared by other department members including some evenings and weekends.
