- Manage anddevelop branch staff.
- Manage day-to-day operations includingoriginating, FHA/VA/CONV loans following Lennar Mortgage roadmap.
- Develop branch business.
- Actively participate in company’sstrategic planning. Set goals and objectives which are measurable,achievable and revolve around our customer service standards.
- Interview, test and hire new branch associates.
- Conduct new hireorientation, performance planning and reviews, disciplinary actionsand terminations.
- Provide coaching and promote a professionalteam effort.
- Provide support for problem solving. Create aninterface with lenders, division escrow coordinators, designcenters and sales agents.
- Handle issues with borrowers, salesconsultants and team members.
- Function as liaison betweenHomebuilder and Mortgage Division.
- Lead and direct processing andHome Loan Advisors in the implementation of new programs andsystems. Delegate and review workflow.
- Oversee and facilitate theorigination of mortgage loan transactions for Division’shomebuyers.
- Perform pre-qualifications on prospective homebuyers.
- Take mortgage loan applications for homebuyers that have signed apurchase contract.
- Communicate loan status updates to allnecessary parties.
- Work with Mortgage Division in monitoringlender programs and requirements.
- Attend homebuilding divisionsales meetings.
- Represent Mortgage Division at builder grandopenings and preview as requested.
- Attend status meetings andspecial functions.
- Responsible for regulatory compliance andquality control. Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years as a branchmanager.
- Minimum 4 – 5 years of application and processingexperience or equivalent mortgage background.
- Current knowledgeof closing and title requirements.
- Current knowledge of loanprocessing and automated underwriting systems.
- Current knowledgeof FHLMC/FNMA/FHA/VA and industry underwriting guidelines.
- Current knowledge of self-employed borrowers, partnership andcorporation tax return analysis.
- Strong computer background with2 to 3 years experience in mortgage software and working knowledgeof Word for Windows and Excel.
- Strong mortgage operationsbackground.
- Valid driver’s license and transportation.
