Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while driving process improvements. This position offers an opportunity to lead a team and contribute to organizational success through effective financial management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Utilize Hyperion Enterprise and Hyperion Financial Management tools to optimize financial planning and reporting.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards to ensure best practices. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an accounting management or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in using Hyperion Enterprise and Hyperion Financial Management software.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate a team.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy.
- Ability to effectively communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
