Monday through Friday from 8a-5p Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles. This role is crucial for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the organization’s growth. Duties Manage the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and ensure accuracy and timeliness. Oversee budgeting processes, including cost control measures to optimize financial performance. Conduct thorough financial planning and analysis to support decision-making processes. Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements. Implement technical accounting policies and procedures to maintain integrity in financial reporting. Monitor accrual accounting practices to ensure proper revenue recognition and expense management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights on cost accounting and operational efficiencies. Prepare reports for senior management that highlight key financial metrics and trends. Requirements Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role in a corporate environment. Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation, budgeting, and cost control practices. Familiarity with governmental accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements is preferred. Excellent analytical skills with a focus on financial planning and technical accounting issues. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex financial information. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (CPA/CMA) is a plus.
