Responsibilitiesinclude managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes,preparing accurate financial statements, and ensuring compliancewith GAAP and relevant industry standards. This position alsoinvolves leading a team of accounting professionals andcollaborating with other departments to enhance financialefficiency and support organizational objectives.

Fridays KeyResponsibilities:

Manage the preparation and review of financialreports, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance Lead month-end andyear-end close activities with a focus on process improvement Applyproper accounting treatment to complex financial arrangements,including renewable energy contracts Collaborate with financialplanning, revenue, and operations teams to support accounting forstructured investments Supervise and develop a team of accountants,setting clear goals and performance standards Drive automationinitiatives to enhance financial reporting and workflow efficiencySupport the implementation of new accounting systems and standardsCoordinate and manage audit processes, ensuring adherence tointernal controls Maintain and update accounting policies anddocumentation to support compliance Contribute to corporateprojects such as mergers and acquisitions, including due diligenceand integration Oversee joint venture accounting, includingintercompany eliminations and financial consolidations Ensureaccurate allocation of costs and revenues across multiple entitiesMonitor financial compliance with partnership agreements Leadspecial projects including policy enhancements and operationalimprovements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inAccounting Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalentcredential 6 years of progressive accounting experience Experiencein the renewable energy sector is a plus Proven ability to operateeffectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Strongplanning, organizational, and leadership skills Proficiency inMicrosoft Office and familiarity with modern accounting systemsDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage priorities and work independently Experience withtools such as NetSuite, Stampli, and GSuite preferred Interested inhearing more?
