  • About this role:
  • Wells Fargo is seeking a Regulatory Capital Reporting Leader (Financial Reporting Director).

This position will report directly to the US Regulatory Reporting Leader and serve on Regulatory and Basel Reporting (RBR) leadership team to provide strategic direction and day to day management of our Capital Reporting activities. As the Head of Capital Reporting you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant reporting of the bank’s capital to US Banking regulatory agencies. You will play a critical role in managing regulatory expectations and supporting strategic direction for transformation of the end-to-end process capital reporting process. It is critical for this role to have in-depth knowledge of RWA across all asset classes and risk types (credit risk, market risk, operational risk). Expectations for this role are to lead a high-performing team of Capital Reporting specialists that provide proactive oversight and foster continuous improvements.

  • In this role, you will:
  • + Lead and develop specialized teams of managers and professionals responsible for complex regulatory capital reporting, including FFIEC 101, Pillar 3, and related requirements.

+ Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of capital reporting systems and processes. + Ensure compliance with Basel III and other capital reporting requirements. + Identify and escalate risk and control issues with transparency, in a timely manner and in accordance with Company policies and procedures. + Partner with Treasury, Risk, and other internal stakeholders on capital reporting related matters. + Regularly lead meetings and present to senior management and Regulators, therefore strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills are necessary. + Monitor regulatory developments and proactively anticipate potential impacts to capital reporting requirements and supporting processes. + Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of capital reporting professionals. + Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals including senior leadership.

  • Required Qualifications:
  • + 8+ years of Finance, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting or Risk Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education + 4+ years of management or leadership experience

Takes ownership of work product and delivers within tight deadlines + Ability to recruit, mentor and develop the next generation of financial leadership + Ability to successfully develop innovative solutions and drive transformational change; strong analytical and critical thinking skills combined with strategic business focus + A change agent. Meaningful business improvement/efficiency and effectiveness change management experience. An evident project/change management approach to driving continuous improvement in process delivery. + Strong interpersonal skills, superior intellect, and an outstanding ability to communicate using these qualities and skills + Detail oriented, responsive, and proactive.   • Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates. $173,300.00 – $359,900.00
