Accounting Manager $95K-$115K + Full Benefits Strategic & Hands-On Role An established, fast-growing company in the professional services space is hiring an Accounting Manager to lead and strengthen its core financial operations. With nearly three decades of success and a nationwide presence, the company continues to evolve through innovation and strategic growth. This position is based out of Kannapolis, NC , and offers potential for 100% remote with occasional travel to the corporate office. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, tech-forward accounting professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable owning the full spectrum of accounting responsibilities.

What You’ll Do:

Manage daily and monthly accounting operations, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial closes Maintain accurate, audit-ready financial statements and backup documentation Develop and update financial forecasts, budgets, and working capital models Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring visibility and alignment with company goals Supervise billing and payment cycles, driving accuracy and timeliness across AR and AP functions Review expenses and identify savings opportunities and financial trends Collaborate across departments to ensure accounting data supports operational decision-making Assist in building dashboards, KPIs, and custom reports using BI tools like Power BI and NetSuite Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline workflows Provide financial support for mergers, acquisitions, and integration efforts as needed Serve as the primary contact for external audits and ensure efficient coordination of deliverables Support executive leadership with ad hoc analysis and strategic financial insights

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred At least 5 years of experience in progressive accounting roles Solid knowledge of GAAP and best practices for financial controls Excellent written and verbal communication skills Independent, resourceful mindset with a collaborative approach
