Description:

The Finance Manager will lead all aspects of our Revenue and Corporate Accounting function. This individual will manage all areas of the monthly accounting close process, including revenue, SG&A and balance sheet management. Key areas of responsibility will include revenue recognition, fixed assets, leases, prepaids, operating expenses, payroll and benefits accounting. This role requires strong analytical and strategic capabilities to interpret and communicate financial results effectively. Additionally, this individual will manage and mentor a team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.

Objectives Provide comprehensive updates through periodic financial reporting in a complex accounting environment Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscape Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions Maximize payroll efficiency through innovative process development Help develop and support short- and long-term operational strategies Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field CPA certification preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role of senior level accounting or as a Finance Manager Experience in managing payroll and 401K plan reporting Experience in healthcare industries is a plus Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong interpersonal and strategic thinking skills to address challenges in a dynamic business environment Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes Proficient in financial and variance analysis Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly MS Dynamics or similar products, as well as advanced Excel and database skills Responsibilities Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Develop and manage the annual budget and forecasting processes Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to the management team Maintain compliance with accounting principles and regulations Supervise the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws Coordinate and manage audit processes with external auditors Implement and maintain ERP systems for improved financial management Oversee the general ledger management and ensure accuracy of financial records Collaborate with senior leadership to oversee global accounting functions and enhance financial outcomes Manage areas including compliance, revenue assurance, and operational consolidation Conduct in-depth accounting research and policy reviews, addressing topics like revenue recognition, lease accounting, and acquisition integration Play an integral role in merger and acquisition activities, including due diligence, financial disclosures, and audit integration Provide critical support for corporate financial closings and the preparation of consolidated reports Facilitate smooth external audit processes and ensure all inquiries are addressed promptly Partner with internal audit teams to maintain effective risk assessments and control structures Work across departments such as Tax, Treasury, and HR to align accounting guidance and corporate initiatives Support the Controller and CFO with key strategic analyses and projects as needed Assist with financial analysis to support strategic decision-making Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures Establish (in coordination with CFO) financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on biweekly, monthly, and annual basis Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, adhering to national and local legal standards while remaining knowledgeable of proposed legislation Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity
