Job Description

Reservation Manager Sea Scape Properties 232 Causeway Drive, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480 Job Summary As a Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of reservations and bookings to ensure exceptional customer service and efficient operations. Responsibilities Team leadership

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the reservation team, including recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development, to foster a high-performing and motivated workforce. Reservation management
  • Oversee all aspects of the reservation process, including handling inquiries, managing bookings, confirming reservations, and resolving issues or discrepancies, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with Sea Scape Properties policies and procedures. Revenue optimization
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize unit revenue and occupancy levels, including setting pricing strategies, managing inventory, and implementing upselling and cross-selling initiatives to achieve revenue targets. Distribution channel management
  • Manage relationships with distribution partners, online travel agencies (OTAs), and global distribution systems (GDS), optimizing distribution channels, and monitoring performance to increase market share and revenue. Forecasting and analysis
  • Analyze reservation trends, booking patterns, and market demand data to forecast occupancy levels, identify opportunities for revenue growth, and make data-driven decisions to optimize pricing and inventory management strategies. Guest experience enhancement
  • Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and marketing, to ensure a seamless and personalized guest experience from booking to check-out, implementing initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty. Technology integration
  • Evaluate and implement reservation management systems, booking engines, and revenue management tools to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the guest booking experience. Reporting and analytics
  • Generate reports and analytics related to reservation performance, revenue metrics, and market trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic planning and decision-making. Quality assurance
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in reservation records, guest profiles, and booking details, conducting regular audits and quality checks to maintain high standards of service and compliance with industry standards. Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a reservations or customer service role
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in data entry and computer systems
  • Knowledge of front desk operations is a plus
  • Management Experience needed
