Job Description
We are recruiting an Accounting Manager for a growing company in Raleigh, NC. This is a key role in the execution of month end close, overseeing various accounting functions, and ensuring the accuracy of the results reported.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. You and your team will also work with several account reconciliations Drive the month end close process ensuring the accuracy of the data. Gaining an understanding of the results in order to present them and any specific variances to management. Analyze current policies and procedures and provide recommendations as to continued process efficiencies Manager the Cash and Treasury function to ensure accurate bank reconciliations, cash flow analysis, and the overall relationships with banks. Maintain current Internal Controls and provide recommendations when opportunities arise Function as the point person related to sharing financial results with other non-finance functional areas, responding to any questions, etc. Work with the FP&A group to assist with budgeting and forecasting, analysis, and ad hoc requests
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA is required Candidates with a public accounting background are encouraged to apply. Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience. Supervisory or oversight experience is a plus Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting software Must have experience working with a large ERP system and advanced excel experience Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
