JR10409 Primary Responsibilities include: Manager must be able to lead a collection team by organizing follow up efforts, and supporting the process of collections. The Manager must be familiar with collection law, managed care contracts and appeals processes to ensure collectors are effective in their efforts to collect on accounts. Maintains Workday attendance tracker recording PTO, absences, tardiness, etc. along with approving hours worked. Schedules staff to ensure full coverage and distributes work to maximize efficiency. Approves overtime only when necessary and within the budget. Evaluates leadership team performance utilizing a variety of factors including collections, indicators, productivity, attendance and the quality of work performed. Manager provides regular, consistent and fair feedback to leadership team. Manager must be able to identify trends in denials or payer aging. The Manager must be able to identify the root cause of the trend and develop a plan to address any identified issues. Meets with team monthly to communicate updates to the team and to facilitate communication between team members of important issues. Encourages all team members to actively participate in the meeting. Effectively communicates with staff, and leadership as needed. Identifies critical issues and keeps leadership informed of the issue and provides possible solutions in addition to communicating any problem.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

: Intermediate Microsoft Office experience. Ability to communicate both verbally and written. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and vendors. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures and governmental regulations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

: High School or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred 5 or more years of RCM experience CPC or CCS-P required
