Manages a team of professionals who provide analysis and reporting on commercial contracts and financial support to internal operations. Ensures project financials are properly monitored and managed in pursuit of maximizing project profitability and cash flow. Essential Functions Oversees team’s daily activities including the review of all project budgets and financial issues. Manages contract deliverables and contract-specific financial reporting. Oversees budgets that require senior attention with respect to revenue exposure, risk, or client needs. Manag Manages client relationship for assigned account(s) with responsibility for contract negotiations, issue resolution, and delivery of reporting. Tracks timeliness and quality of deliverables and provides necessary reporting. Manages staff, which may include interviewing and selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching and mentoring, employee counseling, and separations. Approves courses of action on salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations. Reviews and approves time records, expense reports, requests for leave , and overtime Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA certification is preferred A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Good supervisory and management skills Proficiency in problem solving and prioritizing Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization Strong knowledge of accounting/financial principles and best practices Strong analytical and quantitative skills Strong Microsoft Office skills for analysis and presentation of data Good business acumen Strong presentation skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to multi-task and handle pressure Salary Transparency This is a salaried role that will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
