Sr. Commercial Sales Manager

Overview This is a remote role that may be hired within the eastern seaboard This position provides supervisory support for the Industrial Finance division of the Bank by securing small to large retail contracts from dealer relationships.
Along with their sales reps, this role delivers routine and non-routine creative established solutions to Dealers by assessing and understanding the scope of their project and offering the appropriate financing for their needs, ensuring all credit decisions and application processing programs provide value for both dealers and the Bank. The Sales Manager will manage the regional sales reps within the North-Atlantic, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast region. The business is focused upon supporting Dealer and National Account relationships in the Industrial Equipment Leasing market segment (construction and material handling). The ideal candidate would be located on the eastern seaboard. Responsibilities Sales
- Presents, promotes, and sells products/services to existing and prospective customers. Performs cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs. Troubleshoots complex issues and complaints involving internal and external parties for other representatives. Keeps abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Business Support - Originates cold calling customer leads and reviews/supplies leads list for other reps.
Oversees a database of opportunities and leads that record activity and statistics on each outbound call. Upholds standards for the minimum number of calls and talk time per day. Creates reports and aggregates data on customer needs, problems, interests, and competitive activities, which includes suggestions for new products and services. Presents information in PowerPoint to management.
Relationship Development
- Develops and retains positive business and customer relationships. Makes recommendations in vendor selection, negotiations, issues resolution, and ongoing relationship management for assigned initiatives.
Account Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve goals. Guides, and mentors while manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Works both externally and internally to key stakeholders to achieve business related goals.
Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals.
Makes appropriate changes to department policies, procedures, and efficiencies to meet objectives. Guides, and mentors while manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Maximizes department achievements by providing professional development.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of experience in Commercial Banking and Management
- OR•High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in
Commercial Banking and Management Required Qualifications:
Creditable experience in construction, manufacturing, and/or material handling
Travel within the geographic territory
Preferred Qualifications:
Leasing Industry Knowledge

Computer literate - knowledge of SF.com a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills
Exceptional ability to develop and cultivate strategic relationships
Strong presentation, organization, and time management skills
Works well independently and in collaborative environments The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $130,000 - $170,000 per year.
Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
