Job Description
Abound Health is seeking a Manager of Revenue Cycle Management to support our Star Pediatrics division. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this role is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the billing and revenue cycle function. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational expertise and a collaborative mindset to drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across all revenue-related activities. This role will be located out of our Saddle Brook, NJ location working hybrid. You’ll work closely with clinical, administrative, and finance teams to improve collections, reduce billing errors, and streamline workflows that support the financial health of the division.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage the full revenue cycle process, including authorization data entry, denial prevention, invoicing, payment posting, and account reconciliation. + Develop and monitor KPIs to track performance and identify areas for process improvement. + Lead and support the billing team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management. + Act as a primary point of contact for clinical staff regarding billing-related questions and help resolve issues. + Generate and present reports on accounts receivable, collections, and performance metrics with actionable insights for leadership. + Maintain and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance. + Ensure billing practices align with audit and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
+ 4 years of experience in billing or revenue cycle management, including 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role. + Strong understanding of healthcare billing and coding procedures. + Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage high-performing teams. + Experience with billing and EHR systems; OnTarget experience is a plus. + Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. + Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and drive continuous improvement
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required. #
LI-Hybrid Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary range is $75,000 – $100,000 Base pay is determined by factors such as work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include various other forms of pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive health, dental, and wellness benefits, which begin on your 60th day of employment.
