Accounting Manager 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Voorhees, NJ 08043 We are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations for multiple business entities. This role requires a hands-on finance professional with expertise in general ledger management, financial reconciliation, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in finance or accounting and a strong working knowledge of QuickBooks, financial analysis, and advanced spreadsheet functions. This role is essential in maintaining financial accuracy, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This position reports directly to the CFO and will be part of our corporate office team in Voorhees, NJ. Key Responsibilities Manage accounting operations across multiple business entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Oversee general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Maintain and update QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for leadership review. Handle bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes. Manage Intra-company processes and reconciliations Develop and monitor budgets to ensure financial health across entities. Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and areas for financial improvement. Ensure tax compliance and assist with external audits and regulatory filings. Utilize advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling) for data analysis and forecasting. Collaborate with leadership on strategic financial planning and cost-saving initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment. Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise or similar software and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions required). Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
