Role:
We are seeking a proactive and highly analytical Demand Finance Business Partner to join our US business unit team. This critical contract role will provide essential financial leadership and support to the Fruit and Gum & Mints cell teams, playing a vital part in the execution of our approved business plans. You will ensure sound financial analysis for product and investment proposals, provide insightful performance tracking, and contribute directly to charting our future course.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-depth financial analysis related to key initiatives including innovations, marketing investments, capital expenditures, portfolio analysis, and pricing. Analyze, interpret, and communicate actual financial results to the Business Team, offering data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. Develop and share a deep understanding of the Fruit/G&M product portfolios, identifying opportunities to drive value creation. Analyze the competitive landscape, develop relevant benchmarks, and collaborate with the Human Intelligence team to incorporate market trends and competitive activities into business plans. Share best practices and relevant information with other Finance areas to foster improved engagement and drive overall financial excellence. Help build P&Ls within MS Excel and our innovation tool (PPM), analyze period results, and share insights with the marketing team.
Context and Scope :
This role operates within the US business unit, supporting a portfolio with approximately $3 billion in sales across iconic brands influencing $0.2 billion in marketing investments.
What You’ll Bring:
Education:
University Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred or equivalent experience.
Experience:
4 to 6 years of relevant finance and business partnering experience.
Skills:
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to identify issues, gain mutual agreement on resolutions, and implement change. Strong management and interpersonal skills; must be able to convince, influence, and motivate all levels within the business. A high degree of self-direction, constantly seeking innovative ways to perform tasks efficiently and in a timely manner. Proactive, high energy, detail-oriented when appropriate, results-oriented, and willing to drive change. Excellent communication skills , both verbal and written. Well-developed organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities. Must have experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). SAP experience is a plus. Eagerness to learn, high degree of seeking to understand, being vocal and sharing relevant insights, and attention to detail to build trust with business partners.
