???? About the Role
Community Access Unlimited (CAU) is looking for a Finance Manager who will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of the organization. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented leader with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial management. In this role, you’ll be responsible for financial reporting, budget management, cash flow projections, investment analysis, and more.
You’ll work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, supervise a dynamic team, and help drive the success of CAU’s financial operations while supporting our mission-driven work.
???? What You’ll Do
Lead and manage the monthly financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
Oversee budget development and drive the annual budget process for CAU and other entities
Provide in-depth financial analysis and communicate findings to senior management
Manage relationships with banks, handle cash flow projections, and oversee daily cash position
Review investment performance and recommend changes to optimize returns
Assist in selecting and implementing a new accounting system for the organization
Develop and enforce departmental policies to ensure efficient operations
Ensure adequate insurance coverage for all entities
Supervise and mentor finance team members while supporting their professional development
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including background checks and audits
???? Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance (MBA preferred)
10+ years of progressively responsible experience in treasury or finance management (not-for-profit experience is a plus)
Strong proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
Expertise in cash management, budgeting, and investment performance evaluation
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
Ability to work independently, solve problems, and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
Access to a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record
