Finance Manager Position Available In Erie, New York

• Essential Functions:

• Eaton’s finance organization continues to increase our capabilities and provide a best-in-class operation by implementing advanced processes, technologies, and talent development initiatives.
• The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing strategic and financial leadership to the business, driving insights and actions from data and analytics, and telling compelling stories that influence decision-making and drive performance
• You will collaborate across functions and groups to deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and analysis
• You will also champion a culture of change and continuous improvement, leveraging best practices and benchmarks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance function and the business as a whole
• Oversee / Execute the planning and forecasting process in order to guide business units towards clear targets, ensuring consistency and alignment across the organization
• Provide insightful and actionable reporting, analysis and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders, based on data-driven insights, scenario modeling, and business acumen
• Maintain short-term and long-term financial model for the company
• Create and deliver compelling and persuasive presentations and narratives that communicate complex financial information and insights in a clear and concise manner
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics and identify trends, business opportunities and risks, and areas for improvement
• Analyze manufacturing spend, variances, and other information at the plant level and cost center level
• Partners with Eaton’s Aerospace Sector, Mission Systems Division, Accounting, Audit, Treasury and Tax as appropriate

• Qualifications:

• Basic Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, from an accredited institution is required
• A Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in progressive Accounting and/or Finance roles
• All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship, now and in the future
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which may be subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Eaton’s Orchard Park, NY Facility.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience creating financial models to identify opportunities and risks, and leading and driving budgeting and forecasting processes with a focus on continuous improvement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal communication and change management skills
• Strong understanding of financial business processes
• Ability to function in a multi-cultural environment
• Proven leadership and possession of problem solving and analytical skills
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience
• Oracle ERP experience preferred
• Budgeting experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Financial Planning & Analysis and manufacturing experience, including cost accounting and productivity analysis.
