Job Description
Develop and implement investment strategies that align with the funds objectives, focusing on both pre-IPO private equity deals and public equities in the U.S. and Latin America. Conduct in-depth financial modeling, valuation analysis, and scenario forecasting to assess potential investment opportunities. Regularly monitor and adjust the portfolio to optimize risk-adjusted returns, ensuring proper asset allocation. Build relationships with industry experts, founders, and investors. Lead deal origination efforts for pre-IPO opportunities in sectors such as Consumer, TMT, Healthcare, Utilities, Industrials, and Financials in the U.S. and Latin America. Lead due diligence on private companies, analyzing business models, competitive.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a similar field, and ten years of experience in portfolio management, private equity, or equity research.
- One year of experience in an operational capacity of an investment asset.
- Direct P&L experience pertaining to at least USD 1 billion AUM in the U.S. and Latin American markets.
- Demonstrated experience outperforming the MSCI Latin America Index.
- Experience working within a global investment organization with multi-asset capabilities.
- Experience leading due diligence and conducting financial, market, and risk assessments of private and public companies.
- Experience with portfolio rebalancing, optimization strategies, and asset allocation.
- Experience sourcing deals and leading negotiations for private investments, including structuring terms and exit strategies.
- Knowledge of public and private equity investments and experience managing investments, particularly in the Consumer, TMT, Healthcare, Utilities, Industrials, and Financials sectors in the U.S. and Latin America.
- Quarterly international travel; intermittent domestic travel.
