Job Description
Niagara Falls. Empower. Accounting Manager. $59,000 – $64,000/year. Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance or closely related field. 3-5 years accounting experience and finance experience. Proficiency in financial and cost accounting including understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Ability to perform all of the essential job functions for a minimum of a seven-hour day shift, with a one-half hour unpaid meal break, without a significant risk of serious injury. Advanced proficiency in excel and proficiency in multi layered budget preparation & general ledger and billing software. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work as a team player & coordinate activities including workflow, organizing and maintain records.
Monday through Friday 8:30a-4:00p. The Accounting Manager will provide supervision and support to the Agency Finance Department. Under the direction of the CFO, the Accounting Manager ensures all accounting, bookkeeping, budgeting, accounts receivable, & revenue processes meets all State and Federal regulations, & meets the requirements of the agencys current needs.
