Operations & Finance Manager Pet Industry | Onsite | $90K -$120K Are you a hands-on, resourceful operations professional wholoves variety in your day? Our client – a small but growing petproducts company – is seeking a Operations & Finance Manager whocan keep the business running smoothly across HR, IT coordination,vendor management, and light accounting support. This role is idealfor someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoysbeing the go-to person for getting things done.

What You’ll Do:
Accounting andFinance:
Manage daily accounting functions including overseeing theAP/AR generalist, and working in the general ledger Reconcile bankaccounts and oversee cash flow Support financial reporting, monthlyclose, and budgeting efforts Monitor inventory activity acrosswarehouse locations Assist with payroll processing and ensureaccurate vendor/customer setup Prepare financial statements andassist with tax and audit prep Maintain accurate records and makeprocess improvement recommendations Partner with leadership tooptimize cash flow and track financial performance
Operations &Vendor Support:
Coordinate with external vendors for IT, insurance,security, and facility needs Oversee office systems like phones,software, and security Help improve processes and implementoperational efficiencies Assist with special projects andcross-functional initiatives
Human Resources:
Manage job postings,interview coordination, and onboarding Maintain employee files andsupport policy updates Answer basic questions around benefits,payroll, and company policies Coordinate with external payrollprovider and support bi-weekly processing
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, HR, orrelated field 3-5 years of experience in accounting, operations,office management Exposure to accounting is a plus Comfortableworking in QuickBooks, Sage, and Excel Organized, proactive, andcollaborative – someone who gets stuff done
