Job Type:

Part-Time (average 20 hours/week)

Compensation:

$45-$55 per hour (based on experience)

July 31, 2025 About Us Rehabilitation Through the Arts (RTA) is a mission-driven nonprofit organization, with a $2 million annual operating budget and ten-person staff, focused on helping people in prison develop critical life skills through the arts ( www.rta-arts.org ). Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented, honest and reliable Part-Time Financial/Administrative Manager to support the financial and operational needs of our organization. This key team member will ensure that our finances and administrative systems run smoothly, helping us deliver on our mission effectively and sustainably. This role averages 20 hours per week with flexibility in scheduling and the option to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities Financial Management:

Manage bookkeeping and financial reporting using primarily Fund EZ and Microsoft Excel Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations Support budget development and monitor expenses against grant and organizational budgets Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for leadership and the board Assist with audits, 990 preparation, and funder reporting Maintain accurate records for grant tracking and compliance

Administrative & Operational Support:

Maintain organizational files, records, and systems Support HR functions such as onboarding and staff timesheet tracking Manage insurance, vendor contracts, and administrative compliance Ensure policies and procedures are current and properly implemented Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in nonprofit finance and administration Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Proficient in professional accounting software, Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Familiarity with Fund EZ is a plus.
