Job Description
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger management
Ensure timely invoicing and collections, proactively following up on outstanding payments
Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts
Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support business growth
Manage payroll, tax filings, and compliance with financial regulations
Utilize Sage accounting software and Excel for financial tracking and reporting
Collaborate with leadership to improve financial processes and efficiencies
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in accounting or financial management
Strong understanding of bookkeeping, collections, and financial reporting
Proficiency in Sage (or similar accounting software) and Excel
Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Experience in a small business or startup environment is a plus
