Job Description :
We are seeking a highly ethical and motivated individual to join the financial aid team. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Corporate Director of Financial Aid. The Financial Aid Administrator is responsible for the FA Department staff and compliance oversight at the West Mifflin, PA campus.
Duties Include:
1. Verify student paperwork, including drops and new enrollments. 2. Develop Cost of Attendance and update paperwork yearly. 3. Review Institutional Student Information Records (ISIR) for compliance prior to disbursement (C codes have been checked and properly taken care of). 4. Review National Student Loan Database System (NSLDS) information received with ISIRs. 5. Check applicants’ verification for accuracy. 6. Monitor authorization level for Pell funds. 7. Create and transmit Pell origination and Pell disbursement records. 8. Request Federal disbursements in GAPS. 9. Certify student loans. 10. Verify Student Status Confirmation Report (SSCR) and submit 11. Perform USDE yearly closeout. a. Federal Pell Closeout b. FELP Confirmation 12. Assist prospective and enrolled students as needed. 13. Complete weekly report of new student financial aid complete/incomplete.
Requirements:
Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous post-secondary Title IV administration experience required Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Fluency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and, Powerpoint. Outstanding customer service skills and desire to see others succeed. Ability to set and meet timelines and deadlinesThis is a salaried position, and the pay is based on experience.
