POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounting Manager oversees the accounting team across multiple branches to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and a 5-star experience for both internal and external customers. This individual is an experienced leader who is collaborative, organized, and effective at coaching and mentoring. The Accounting Manager supports the Controller and plays a key role in developing strong financial procedures, managing people, and driving accountability within the department.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Lead and coach the accounting team to foster a high-performance, collaborative culture Coordinate with the Controller on financial reporting, payroll, A/P and A/R, and bank reconciliations Perform 1:1 coaching and training to support team growth and development Hire, onboard, and manage performance of accounting staff Identify workflow improvements and escalate key issues to the Controller Ensure accurate financial records and timely month-end close Establish and maintain strong internal controls Monitor cash flow and assist with financial planning Oversee compliance with GAAP and company policies Support a seamless and positive experience for both internal and external stakeholders Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration 5+ years of accounting leadership experience Proven success managing a team, preferably in a multi-site environment Experience with multi-state tax reporting and compliance Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Industry experience is a plus
