Role:

Motive is looking for a detail oriented, highly motivated RevenueAccounting Manager to lead revenue recognition processes and driveoperational excellence. The ideal candidate will combine strongdata analysis skills, process improvement expertise, with technicalaccounting knowledge of ASC 606. Reporting to the Senior Manager,Revenue Accounting, this role will oversee the Senior, RevenueAccounting and the relationship with our revenue system contractors

What Youll Do:

Responsibility for month-end close process,including preparation and review of journal entries and accountreconciliations Collaborate with Deal Desk, Order Management,Billing and Collections, and FP&A to ensure accurate revenuerecognition of customer contracts in accordance with ASC 606 Workclosely with Enterprise Systems to provide guidance on RevenueAccounting needs for accurate booking of contracts, implementationof new products, and other system changes Drive process improvementprojects to streamline and automate manual workflows Manage openaccounting and systems issues, including monitoring system tickets,collaborating with revenue accounting system contractors, andleading testing for system updates and changes Conduct technicalaccounting research in collaboration with the Revenue AccountingSenior Manager, ensure appropriate solutions are implemented withprocess documentation, and as needed document conclusions inaccounting policy format Ensure risks are accurately mitigated andadequate controls are implemented Support audit deliverables andhelp coordinate with auditors during the year-end/quarterly audits

What Were Looking For:

BA/BS or higher in Accounting or FinanceCPA, with experience in revenue recognition under

ASC 606 6

yearsof progressive experience in a fast-growing SaaS, technology, orsubscription based company. Some Public Accounting experience isstrongly strongly preferred. Strong project management skillsPassion for/knowledge of accounting and related systems Experienceusing advanced Excel functions, with an interest and ability towork with large amounts of data Familiarity with coding,specifically sql, is preferred. Highly organized and self-directed,with keen attention to detail Excellent written/verbalcommunication skills with the ability to present findings andinteract at all levels of the organization Ability to multi-taskand excel in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, and data drivenorganization Experience with Zuora (subscription billing software)and Salesforce CPQ is preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Excel,Snowflake, as well as Google Suite applications Experience withZuora RevPro is a plus Pay Transparency Your compensation may bebased on several factors, including education, work experience, andcertifications. For certain roles, total compensation may includerestricted stock units. The compensation range for this positionwill depend on where you reside.
