The Finance / Business Manager secures acceptable financing for customers requesting it through one of the dealership’s lending sources; and they strive to secure each sale and ensure that every vehicle sold is delivered. All the while maintaining control of all the paperwork until it is ready to be turned in to the Accounting Office.
Job duties:
Offering vehicle financing and insurance to customers and providing them with an in-depth explanation of aftermarket products, extended warranties, and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies. Seeking new lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs. Processing financing and leasing deals accurately and securing approval via financial sources Understanding and complying with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the dealership Creating and maintaining a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the Finance department
Responsibilities:
Monitor dealership assets and ensure that all money is accounted for in every deal. This entails checking rebates, collecting all money for each deal, handling customer cancellations/complaints as well as loading all customer information/printing paperwork Protect and improve customer retention by supplying everyone with an equal opportunity to protect their investment. This involves building menus, and demonstrating the benefits of each product for the customer Keep track of all paperwork: On a dealership finance deal, control is kept until the loan is approved and all the necessary paperwork has been signed. On cash deals, the Finance / Business Manager maintains control until all the money is accounted for, all checks are received and funds have been verified. On an outside finance deal, the Business Manager maintains control until a draft has been delivered and drafting instructions have been made available Complete the
Paperwork:
The Finance / Business Manager is responsible for all paperwork involved with the sale of the vehicle. This means obtaining customer signatures on all necessary forms and obtaining payoff and insurance information
Requirements:
Understand and keep updated with Federal, State, and Local regulations that affect the car dealership Technologically Proficient Professional appearance Solid communication skills both written and verbal
Store Hours:
Monday to Thursday 9am to 7pm Friday 9am to 6pm
Saturday:
9am to 5pm Sunday Closed One weekday scheduled off.
