Job Summary:

Lincoln University’s MBA Department is seeking a qualified Adjunct/Part-Time Instructor to teach Advanced Financial and Managerial Accounting courses. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to graduate-level students, engaging them in real-world financial analysis, and fostering a learning environment that integrates theoretical concepts with practical application. The ideal candidate will start in the fall of 2025. Courses offered on Saturdays to accommodate working professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver course material for advanced financial and managerial accounting. Utilize various teaching methods to engage students in critical thinking and problem solving. Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and projects. Provide mentorship and guidance to students in academic and professional development. Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), and regulatory changes. Incorporate technology and data analytics into coursework where applicable. Maintain timely communication with students and the department. Adhere to university policies and procedures regarding grading, attendance, and course administration.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant), DBA (Doctor of Business Administration), or PhD in Accounting or Finance required. Prior teaching experience at the college or graduate level is preferred. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost management, and managerial decision-making frameworks. Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, and accounting software is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
