This role ensures compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies while maintaining the integrity and reliability of financial data. Key responsibilities include overseeing the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, coordinating closely with external auditors, and serving as a key point of contact during audits. The Manager also champions process improvements by implementing automation, enhancing financial systems, and streamlining reporting workflows. Duties Provide strategic leadership to the Financial Reporting team , fostering a high-performance culture through clear direction, continuous coaching, and professional development to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Oversee and optimize the close process (monthly, quarterly, annual), ensuring not only completeness and accuracy but also driving accountability and efficiency through robust documentation and streamlined workflows. Lead the integrity of balance sheet reporting by ensuring timely, accurate, and fully substantiated account reconciliations, proactively addressing risks and discrepancies to strengthen financial controls. Deliver high-impact financial reporting by producing clear, accurate, and insightful financial statements and management reports that support strategic decision-making and meet GAAP and regulatory standards. Manage the external audit relationship with strategic foresight , coordinating audit activities, anticipating information needs, and ensuring a transparent and efficient audit process that reflects strong internal controls and financial rigor. Champion transformation across financial reporting , identifying and leading key initiatives to enhance the close and reporting lifecycle through automation, systems integration, and advanced analytics—driving continuous improvement in accuracy, speed, and value delivery.
