Overview This is a full-time career opportunity based out of our Philadephia, PA location to support that market.
The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and implement growth strategies for consumer mortgage origination within an assigned local market, including recruiting, sales and marketing, budget planning and management, and oversight of staff. The incumbent will also execute a personal marketing and sales strategy toward established sales goals and targets while directly managing support staff. This position requires frequent travel. Responsibilities Plan, manage and evaluate the work of Mortgage Loan Officers and support staff, establish individual goals and sales targets, train, coach and mentor staff, source, screen and select candidates, manage performance, partner with human resources regarding employment related issues
Execute local recruiting strategy, identify, engage and influence Loan Officers and Loan Assistants to join Fulton Mortgage Company, build and maintain robust candidate pipeline, discuss, negotiate and escalate compensation terms for approval
Develop local origination growth strategy, collaborate with commercial and consumer segments to identify and generate opportunities, establish sales goals for the local market, determine marketing strategy and drive implementation through Mortgage Loan Officers and staff
Engage realtors, developers, builders, community organizations and individuals to promote Fulton’s mortgage products and services, solicit residential mortgage sales, identify and pursue cross-marketing and sales opportunities with regard to other Fulton banking products
Source, analyze and evaluate customer credit and financial information, advise and influence prospects and customers, direct the origination process from application through close, resolve issues and respond to inquiries
Oversee the execution of all risk management and compliance processes and procedures, ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations within a heavily-regulated environment
Lead, promote and champion business and corporate initiatives including culture and change management, establish and maintain a positive personal and company image within the local business and professional community Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent experience.
