JobDetails Job Details:

We are looking for a dynamic anddetail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. This is ahybrid role that allows the flexibility of working from home andoffice. The successful candidate will be responsible for managingvarious accounting operations, conducting special analysis, andhandling multiple entities. This role requires expertise in systemimplementations, integration of new entities, financials,reconciliation, income statement analysis, monthly reporting, andhealthcare accounting. The candidate will also be expected tomaintain restricted fund report distribution lists.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of theaccounting department including month and end-year process,accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payrolland utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue andexpenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations,check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc. 2. Monitor andanalyze accounting data and produce financial reports orstatements. 3. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods,policies, and principles. 4. Coordinate and complete annual audits.5. Provide recommendations for improving systems and procedures andinitiate corrective actions. 6. Meet financial accountingobjectives. 7. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records todocument transactions. 8. Perform special analysis and maintainrestricted fund report distribution lists. 9. Handle multipleentities and manage system implementations. 10. Manage integrationof new entities and handle financials. 11. Reconcile incomestatement and handle monthly reporting. 12. Manage healthcareaccounting and intercompany transactions.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required. 3. 5years of experience in accounting or a related field. 4.Proficiency in accounting software, particularly PeopleSoft andWorkday. 5. Strong understanding of accounting theory andprinciples. 6. High attention to detail and accuracy. 7. Ability todirect and supervise a team. 8. Excellent analytical skills andexperience creating reports and presentations. 9. Strong knowledgeof financial reporting and other legal requirements. 10. Excellentcommunication skills, both verbal and written. 11. Strongproblem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisionsbased on accurate and timely analyses. 12.
