Interim Finance Manager – Covering Leave of Absence 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 194 Burnside Avenue, Woonsocket, RI 02895 Reporting directly to the CFO, this staff role has primary focus on financial reporting, general ledger, financial analysis, account reconciliations, banking reports and provides accounting support and guidance for the department as well as the organization. The Finance Manager develops financial status and implements systems, which are electronically driven, for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information for the company. Supervise AP and Staff Accountant Adheres to and implements proper GAP accounting methods, policies and principles Maintains company’s general ledger system to ensure accurate company reports Drives process improvements within departments in order to streamline accounting information Develops and implements accounting procedures by analysing current procedures and recommending changes Reviews period end inventory reports, inventory receipts/shipments and monthly transactions to ensure reporting accuracy Maintain fixed asset ledger with outside CPA firm to properly record new assets in correct classification and depreciation years/methods. Facilitate fixed assets disposals and assets not in use with CPA firm Prepare and input all journal entries including maintenance of all automated entries from Excel files and standard journals Successfully executes month-end financial close to ensure that monthly reporting package is promptly completed by business day 5 Perform account analysis on required balance sheet account With assistance of CFO, develop and prepare monthly reporting package to BOD Support A/P, cash application and credit memo processes when necessary Support customer collections when necessary Processes weekly payroll and uploads/enters required entries into general ledger Inputs 401K changes into payroll and reconciles deductions Prepare weekly Flash and cash flow reports Generates invoices for non-production related CMO activity Participate in cycle count audits (when implemented) Prepare month end financial reports as required for business results communications Prepares for month end or year-end period financial and worker’s comp audits Prepares reporting for property and state sales and use tax reporting and filing returns Maintain current customer tax exempt certificates and ensure vendor is appropriately taxing purchases which are not tax exempt; capture use tax if not on vendor invoices Prepares year-end tax schedules Perform other duties as assigned/required by
