The FP&A Segment analyst serves as the finance business partner to the Director of Finance, VP and General Manager and Brand Leaders by providing financial leadership to the operations in the planning and execution of business goals and objectives and day to day management. The Segment analyst manages the financial performance of the business including planning, forecasting, reporting, and analyzing business drivers, risks, and operational metrics.

Essential Functions:

Develop and coordinate profit plans, monthly forecasts, goals & objectives, reports and analysis for plant & division management, including variance analysis and cost control reporting and recommendations.
Manage, analyze, evaluate and interpret financial forecasts and operating results. Inform management of results and recommend corrective actions to address unfavorable trends and variances.
Develop, implement, and analyze budgeting and financial reporting systems to provide timely and relevant information to plant, region/division, and business unit management.
Ensure accurate financial statement reporting.
Lead monthly review of segment and brand P&L’s with senior leadership
Oversees international simulated P&Ls Canada and Latam
Product Manager with NPI (New Product Innovation) and other analytics
Evaluate potential investments to support growth initiatives
Ad-hoc and special projects as directed by leadership

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Analytics, Accounting, or Finance
2-5+ years in a Financial Analyst, Accounting or General Financial, position in a corporate environment
Exposure to P&L and experience in a manufacturing environment
A self-starter and proactive person who can hit the ground running and learn quickly with the tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced experience with SAP
One Stream knowledge
Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and financial systems and processes.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skillset
PowerBI or Tableau Compensation
The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is $65,000-$80,000. Benefits and Perks
