Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and cash forecasting.2. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.3. Establish and enforce proper operational internal controls to ensure shipping, inventory management,and ordering are processed correctly.4. Review BOMs, Routings and Work Orders to ensure the accuracy of COGs by product line.5. Coordinateand completeannual audits.6. Prepareandpublishtimelymonthly financial statements.7. File quarterly excise taxes and yearly property taxes.8. Managethe production ofannualbudgetand forecasts.9. Superviseand mentor a team;ensurethe professional growth and development of team members.10. Review the work of cross functional team members in the inventory,shipping,and sales departments.
