Job Description:

Base-2 Solutions is hiring an accounting and finance managerthat will be focused on internal accounting and finance duties thatwill include in depth government contract work. Job DescriptionManaging all company accounting, cost accounting and governmentcontract costs-related compliance functions, including theinitiation, preparation and maintenance of all company accountingpolicies and procedures. Preparation and review of all monthlyfinancial statements, review of monthly payroll, all federal andstate tax filings, compliance with all FAR and DCAA regulationsincluding management of the audit process and filing of annual DCAArate proposal. Execute accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Administration of the company’s 401k plan. Prepares and executesfinancial modeling based on potential changes in customer funding.

Prepares cost reporting for Government customers. Generate andprocess contract invoices. Conduct various financial analyses forhigh-level executives. Assists in negotiation and execution ofgovernment contracts. Required Qualifications 14 years ofexperience in accounting and financial management. 10 yearsexperience in government contracting, ideally in Department ofDefense or Intelligence Community. Experience and strong knowledgeof the FAR and other federal government contract regulations. Deepunderstanding and experience in Government cost reporting includingbilling. Strong computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel(including design and development of moderate to complexspreadsheets), and MS Outlook. Bachelor’s degree in BusinessAdministration, Finance, Accounting or related field. Pay & BenefitHighlights Compensation Above market fixed salary or hourly pay. Upto $10,000 bonus for each referral.
