ERP Finance Team Lead – 60020291 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars Richland County, SC Job Responsibilities ERP Finance Team Lead The Department of Administration’s Division of Enterprise Applications is seeking an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Finance Team Lead to join our team. We are in growth mode, and it is an exciting time to be a contributing member to SC Enterprise Information System (SCEIS)! SCEIS is the backbone of our business processes, and ultimately empowers decision makers to improve government for the citizens. This critical role is ideal for a strategic thinker and skilled financial professional who excels at cross-functional collaboration with a deep understanding of ERP systems, public sector finance and financial best practices. You will serve as a functional resource for enterprise enhancements and lead the Finance (FI) functional team focusing on evaluation, configuration, and maintenance of SCEIS software. As a team lead, you will oversee all related finance processes and authorize changes/modifications to the
SCEIS/SAP

ERP Finance Team Lead:
Direct research and work closely with SCEIS project teams, central government, agencies, and consultants to evaluate and re-engineer all accounting and finance-related business processes for statewide operations and implementations. Participate in the decision-making for the ongoing development of system enhancements. Direct the identification and documentation of SAP software configuration required to support the State’s business processes for the Fl modules in scope. Review project objectives, oversee Fl testing activities, ensure timelines are met and approve all deliverables. Present and implement new or revised policies, procedures, and program functionality. Communicate and coordinate with other team leads, agency leadership, and project manager to ensure appropriate integration of processes and modules across enterprise system. Direct the development and review of Fl end-user training curriculum. Facilitate and participate in workshops, training sessions, and/or presentations to educate agency leadership, vendors, and users on system functionality or other related matters to promote the SCEIS System. Manage end-user production support for functional areas. Ensure that service requests are addressed timely and professionally with the end user. Minimum and Additional Requirements Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in accounting and finance. Relevant experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis. Prior experience managing a team of finance analysts within a large ERP system or serving in a lead role within this type of complex environment.
Additional Requirements:
Must possess a thorough knowledge of general accounting and budgeting principles and procedures, with preference given to public sector experience. Must have strong analytical and organizational skills and be able to work with and coordinate the efforts of a diverse group of professionals. Must be able to work with a variety of customers and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Detailed knowledge of the South Carolina’s adherence to the standards and guidance provided by the Government Accounting Standards Board and its impacts on our system processes and configuration is highly desirable. Certification as a Certified Public Accountant or Government Finance Officers Association Certification is highly desirable.
