Are you an experienced financial manager with a passion for small business? The Greathouse Company, Nashville’s premier landscape maintenance and installation service provider, is looking for a motivated Financial Business Manager to join our team. This person will primarily be responsible for managing the company financials – everything from invoicing and A/R to financial reporting, data review, proactive forecasting and more. The ideal candidate must have a strong skill set in data analytics, financial management, is experienced with QuickBooks, is well organized and detail oriented. Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Base Salary of $100,000 – $120,000

- PTO and Paid Holidays Responsibilities Effectively manage budgets, job costing, forecasting and financial planning processes.
Monitor cashflow, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger activity. Successfully manage the accounting and financials of the company and proactively make recommendations to achieve desired goals. Oversee and process payroll, tax compliance and liaise with external accountants (inclusive of reporting/payment of taxes, preparing hours/cost report for management and issuing payroll checks). Evaluate and improve financial processes for efficiency and scalability. Manage financial tools and software (ex: QuickBooks). Record company expenditures, assigning costs to jobs as appropriate. Maintain an accurate cost book, financial records, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Monthly reconciliation of company credit cards, bank accounts, and payments. Support HR tasks like employee onboarding, benefits coordination, and compliance. Help manage insurance policies, worker’s comp, licenses, and other administrative duties.
Qualifications:
- Degree in finance or accounting, required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a financial management role.
- Prior experience in a small business; construction or landscape industry, preferred.
- Must be experienced with data analytics and forward thinking.
- Strong skill set in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Must be detail-oriented and quality-driven.
- Expert in Excel and other software systems.
- Experience with QuickBooks and CRM systems (Aspire or similar).
- Ability to work well under deadline and prioritize tasks.
- Must be willing to take initiative and exercise sound judgment in problem-solving and decision making.
