Job Description
Accounting Manager Apex Moving + Storage 120 Timberline Drive, Spring Hill, TN 37174 Overview Fifty-year-old high-quality logistics and transportation provider is seeking an individual to lead accounting and finance activities at our new Spring Hill, TN facility. The position reports to the CFO, is full-time, and primary responsibilities include hands-on activities in the following areas:
- Management of Billing, AP and AR, with hands-on activities as needed
- Treasury and Banking
- General Ledger Accounting
- Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Financial Systems Administration
- Policy & Controls
- Tax (income tax returns are outsourced) The ideal candidate will be:
- Proficient at Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experienced with financial systems and monthly close processes
- A critical thinker
- A self-starter
- Detail-oriented
- An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
