Hybrid Salary:
$110,000 – $135,000 + BONUS We’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to lead the daily operations of our accounting department. Based in Brentwood, TN , this role is critical in driving financial accuracy, compliance, and process improvement across our 20 service locations. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, partnering cross-functionally with leaders in HR, IT, Marketing, and more-while mentoring a team of talented accountants. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Oversee multi-entity consolidations and general ledger integrity Ensure GAAP compliance, including ASC 606 application Mentor and lead accounting team (senior/staff accountants) Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and SOPs Manage external audit process and documentation Analyze SG&A expenses; track variances and identify savings Partner with non-finance departments to monitor spending Support budget and forecasting cycles Enhance dashboards and reporting packages Identify and implement process improvements Support system upgrades and company scalability Contribute to M&A and strategic business initiatives What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred ) 8+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ in a leadership role Experience in service/maintenance, construction, or equipment services industries Proven ability to manage month-end close and audits Solid understanding of
U.S. GAAP, ASC
606, and contract accounting Strong SG&A analysis and cost tracking experience Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics GP) experience is required Advanced Excel skills; ERP exposure a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a growing, cross-functional environment Why Join Us?
